Volumetric Unit (Modular)
The paper highlights the risk assessments for integrating volumetric units (modular units) into a Bay Area Affordable Housing portfolio. It includes financial, design, and construction risks and emerging frameworks, and potential risk mitigation. We drew the risks from interviews with other Affordable Housing developers/owners, General Contractors, Construction Managers, and case studies in the Bay Area.
